Get ready for an exciting twist in the world of MotoGP! The stage is set for a thrilling showdown between two talented riders.
Toprak Razgatlioglu, a rising star in the MotoGP circuit, has set his sights on Nicolo Bulega, his rival from the World Superbike Championship. With just 13 points separating them at the end of the 2025 season, the Turkish rider is now eagerly anticipating Bulega's MotoGP debut in Portugal.
But here's where it gets controversial... While Razgatlioglu is moving up to MotoGP full-time in 2026, Bulega will remain in Superbike. However, this weekend (November 7-9), Bulega will get his chance to shine with the Ducati Lenovo Team, filling in for the injured Marc Marquez.
Razgatlioglu, who is patiently waiting for his turn to ride the Yamaha YZR-M1, shared his hopes for Bulega's performance. He believes his rival has the potential to contend for top-10 positions, especially with the powerful Ducati bike at his disposal.
"I'm thrilled for Bulega; he's consistently improving, and this is a massive opportunity in MotoGP," Razgatlioglu told WorldSBK.com at the EICMA show in Milan. "We'll be watching his progress in the final two races.
The Ducati is an incredible machine, and Bulega looked promising during the tests. I hope he has an enjoyable ride at Portimao and Valencia this weekend.
I truly believe Bulega can fight for a top-10 finish at Portimao; he's exceptionally strong on that track. The Ducati is perfectly suited for it.
I'm rooting for him to deliver an exceptional performance because it's a significant moment for WorldSBK."
